Ready-to-GO X-Gal/IPTG (1000x) 10x10mL, P05-SR04-1010

Ready-to-go X-gal/IPTG is 1000x concentrated stock solution of X-Gal/IPTG supplied in air tight brown bottles. The solution is sterile, stable, and ideal for selection of cloning constructs in all standard lacZ systems (alpha complementation). It offers time and material savings for both experienced and novice investigators. It also eliminates handling of hazardous DMSO or DMF. X-gal/IPTG Solution is sterilized by filtration through a 0.2 micron filter. Being still liquid at- 20°C eliminates freeze-thaw cycles that reduce selection efficiency. Agar plates containing X-gal/IPTG Solution are stable up to 6 months when stored protected from light at 4°C.
